My Mission

What if leadership wasn’t about a title but about lifting others higher?

I am a servant leader who believes impact starts with people. In a digital world that is always accelerating, I make sure the human element never gets left behind. Every day I guide cross-functional teams to collaborate, think differently and challenge what is possible because real value comes from bold ideas and brave teamwork.

I am known for anticipating roadblocks before they even appear, clearing the way so my teams can stay focused on what matters, innovation and results.

But my approach is not just about agile delivery or hitting targets it’s about leading with empathy, vision and the courage to disrupt the status quo.

So, if you are looking for someone who drives impact by inspiring others and putting people first, I am ready to connect.

Let’s build something remarkable ..... together.

Though the film and advertising industry doesn’t formally use Scrum, I’ve applied Scrum principles to lead complex productions with agility and focus. Each phase — from casting and location scouting to gear selection and set design — functions as backlog items prioritized toward the Product Goal: delivering a high-impact advertisement or film.

I’ve successfully facilitated production sprints, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver working increments to key stakeholders — primarily the client. By applying Scrum roles, events, and artifacts in a non-traditional setting, I helped teams stay aligned, adapt quickly to change, and continuously deliver value.

Below are a few of my most treasured value creations.

Value Creation

Client: Dayforce

Shooting location: Montevideo, Uruguay

Sprint Goal: The script was asking for a sorting facility where packages keep falling off a conveyor belt to symbolize chaos. The goal was to find a suitable location to film this scene.

Impediment: The only existing sorting facility in Montevideo denied our request to film at their plant.

Inspection: I asked the question, what location do we like and what can we film there? The transparency of the process was to take budget into consideration, maintain creative approach and make sure that the solution remains visually interesting.

Adaptation: Instead of finding a location for the story, we found the story for the location. We decided on a visually interesting solution and wrote a story around it. We replaced falling packages piling up with the famous Buster Keaton illusion of a falling shelf in an architecturally stimulating environment, which gave our stakeholders a much more valuable product. They were thrilled.

Client: Pepsico | Tropicana

Shooting location: Canadian Arctic, Inuvik, NT, Canada

Sprint Goal: Find a new storyline to close the ad without prominent product placement. Find the “wow” in the story, that hasn’t been written yet and surprise the stakeholders.

Impediment: Inuvik’s remote location in the Canadian Arctic had us work within location constraints. Temperatures of -50ºC made work outside a challenge. The stakeholders were focused on product presentation.

Inspection: Assessing the situation, I asked the developers, what is the feeling that you have when something wows you? How can we create that feeling on the screen? And how can we create that within the logistical constraints of our location?

Adaptation: We engaged the small community, the fact that everyone wanted to pitch in. A wide shot of the town at the end of the commercial was the visual masterpiece of the product. It was filmed off the roof of a local fire truck. The stakeholders were ecstatic, and the ad went on to win the Golden Lion at the Cannes International Advertising Festival

Testimonials

Kathrin is one of those rare people who can juggle complex logistics, staggered timelines, and a large team with seemingly effortless ease. I had the pleasure of working with Kathrin on several high-stakes commercial projects for major corporate clients, where she consistently delivered ahead of schedule and brought a sense of calm to both the production office and the set. As a Scrum Master in spirit and practice, Kathrin excelled at removing impediments before they impacted the team — often identifying and resolving risks before others even saw them coming. Her pre-production plans are a work of art - every detail thought out, every contingency planned for, every crew member briefed and prepared. If the unexpected happens, she facilitates rapid inspection and adaptation with the kind of calm agility that kept the team focused. Crew members loved working with her because she embodied servant leadership — ensuring psychological safety, shielding the team from chaos, and keeping the production aligned with stakeholder expectations. Any organization would be lucky to have Kathrin leading their Scrum Teams
